My Story I spent my childhood between Naivasha and Arusha, where my mother worked in wildlife filmmaking. Those early years gave me a rare, front-row seat to conservation in action - surrounded by lion researchers, bush pilots, and some of Africa’s most respected environmental voices. My godmother, Cynthia Moss, was one of many inspirations who helped shape my deep love for the wild. Over the years, I’ve guided across some of Africa’s most iconic landscapes and have a knack for thriving in the kinds of places where Google Maps gives up. My work has spanned wildlife rehabilitation and monitoring, conservation logistics, high-end hospitality, camp management, community training and hands-on field operations. With an additional background in commercial diving and underwater engineering, I’m just as comfortable MacGyvering a tricky bush fix with no tools as I am 50m under the Baltic Sea - adaptable, practical, and always ready to improvise when the wild throws a curveball. What sets me apart is my ability to read both people and place. I don’t just lead safaris - I carefully tailor them, tapping into the values and cues I get from the people I’m guiding. My guiding style is immersive and thoughtful, shaped by a sense of place, a love for storytelling, and a healthy dash of dry humor. My approach goes beyond spotting wildlife.
